Cow Discipline

I was just watching my mama cows and their calves.  The cows headed for the watering trough and the three calves stayed down in the pasture playing a kids will do.  About halfway to the trough, one of the mama's turned and bellowed at her calf and the other two joined in.  The calves ignored them, again much as kids will do.  One cow then returned to the calves, separated her calf and began butting it in the direction of the watering trough until it went on its own.  We just think we are different.

Here is that calf about an hour old.
