Country Family Reunion


In 1997, producer Larry Black and singer / songwriter Bill Anderson realized that a lot of the older legends of country music were still alive and performing but knew that they would be leaving us soon. So they got about 50 older singers, songwriters, and producers together with a great band for three days of reminiscing, story telling, and singing.  29 of the folks on that first show are no longer with us.

Since that time they have filmed several of these reunions with different groups of artists and I have enjoyed them all.  If you like country music at all you should see these.  They are filming a new one this fall in conjunction with Bill Anderson's 50th anniversary in music.
